Dominique BrownHBCU Scholarships + Workforce Development
DBSF provides HBCU scholarships and college-success preparation for first-year scholars. Our workforce-development programs serve Los Angeles County young adults ages 17–24 through financial literacy, job training, professional branding, and internship opportunities.
Who we are
The Dominique Brown Scholarship Foundation expands access through HBCU scholarships for first-year students and workforce development for Los Angeles County young adults ages 17–24.
We believe HBCUs are powerful engines of culture, leadership, and economic mobility. We also believe every young adult deserves practical tools, trusted relationships, and access to career opportunities—whether or not they attend an HBCU.
Why this work matters
DBSF supports HBCU scholars through scholarships and the Launch Pad workshop. The Launch Your Future program helps Los Angeles County young adults ages 17–24 prepare for careers, while Launch Your Brand supports both HBCU scholarship recipients and Launch Your Future participants.
